One of the leading voices in the new generation of contemporary folk singer-songwriters, Amy Speace was discovered by Judy Collins in 2006, who signed Amy to her own Wildflower Records and recorded her song “Weight of the World”. In 2009, that song was named as #4 in “top 10 folk songs of the Decade” by NYC’s top AAA radio station. 

Since then, Speace has released one critically acclaimed record after another. In early 2020, she was awarded “International Song of the Year” by the UK Americana Music Association for the title track to her album, “Me and the Ghost of Charlemagne”
